I am a Board Certified, adolescent and child psychiatrist with an expertise in the management of psychiatric problems and disorders, including but not limited to depression, mood, bipolar, eating, panic, and anxiety disorders; ADHD, OCD, and PTSD; specific phobias; coping with loss or grief; relationship issues; parenting and family conflict issues; peer relationships; self-esteem; and women’s mental health.
I help patients build richer, more rewarding lives. In my psychiatric practice in central New Jersey I treat patients with a variety of issues related to home and family as well as work and career.
I have completed Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in June 2011. Prior to that, I completed Adult Psychiatry Residency at the same institution. In addition, I served as an adult, adolescent, and child Consultation and Liaison Psychiatrist at Hackensack University Medical Center, as well as acted as an academic instructor for UMDNJ residents and students at this location.
Currently, I am serving as a Consultation and Liaison Psychiatrist at the Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey, treating adults, adolescents and children.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children, providing treatment through therapy, medication or both. I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, interpersonal therapy, and working with difficult family therapy situations. I provide a variety of services including medication management, anger and stress management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, children’s therapy, couples counseling, parent counseling, and sports psychiatry.
